"Delivering Knowledge with Passion and Integrity"
We provide a range of training for professionals, Autistic individuals and their families/carers.
With a varied client base and years of experience, we have a range of prepared seminars available - though we are always enthusiastic about developing bespoke content.
We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher.
Our instructors are highly qualified, experienced and passionate about the subjects they teach - an enthusiasm they bring into all our seminars and services.
We ensure all our content is truly coproduced with our Autistic / neurodivergent team members.
Whether for support workers, parents, medical professionals, airport staff, police officers or much more, Autside offer training suited to a wide range of audiences.
We have a varied array of seminars available on many topics including Anxiety, Sensory Differences, Pathological / Extreme Demand Avoidance, and much more - see our course outlines tab for more information.
Autside is an award winning company based in South Wales, specialising in Autism and related conditions.
We provide training, consultancy and support, and sit on a wide range of technical, writing and operational groups, along with speaking at events in the UK and Europe, and creating free autistic led content.
Autside is run in partnership by Donna Sharland and Emma Durman. We are proud to be neurodivergent led and to ensure intrinsic, not tokenistic autistic involvement in everything we do.
Autside is widely known and well regarded, particularly in our home country of Wales, with established relationships in the community and with services at local and national level.
We strive to respect the opinions and dignity of the Autistic community in everything we do, and ensure we continually update our knowledge and skills in line with the latest research, as we believe that collective understanding of Autism is constantly and rapidly evolving....
We have provided training for a range of public, private and third sector clients (see below), and are able to provide accredited training in association with Agored Cymru. We are currently, along with the National Autistic Society, UK partners on a European Erasmus+ Pages project focusing on Autism and employment.
